Kapkiyai AA

Kapkiyai AA

Tasting Notes: Delicate, grapefruit & white tea

With the help of Algrano we've sourced this coffee direct from the Kapkiyai Co-operative, in the Rift Valley of Kenya. We selected this, the highest grade 'AA' lot which stood out as a stunning example of Kenyan coffee.

We've kept the roast super light to highlight its beautiful clean acidity and white tea notes. Definitely best as filter or manual brewing, and enjoyed long and black.

Flavour

Grown at 2,000 - 2,230 masl, the coffee is harvested from October to January. It is produced by Vava Coffee, pulped, fully washed and dried on raised beds pictured here.
