A three-hour workshop for baristas looking to expand their knowledge and role

Are you a professional looking to develop in the field of speciality coffee and take on responsibility in the workplace for the coffee area? This course will build on the skills learnt in Barista basics to include a more detailed understanding of espresso, including brew ratios and equipment calibration.

We will work on next-level latte art skills and cover light maintenance, troubleshooting and tips for training others. We highly recommend that every business has at least one professional barista on shift.

After this session you will be able to: 

• Understand espresso science brew ratios and dial in the grinder
• Taste and evaluate espresso
• Pour various latte art designs
• Troubleshoot equipment issues
• Set up and run an efficient coffee bar
• Confidently coach others.
