Professional barista beginner

A three-hour course for anyone new to barista work

In this course you will develop the core skills of the professional barista and what you need to know to prepare the full barista's menu. It covers how to: recognise and achieve good extraction and flavour, prepare perfectly textured milks, and build all the drinks on the menu.

We will also go through work flow and efficiency, and how to clean and look after your equipment.

• Pull perfect shots, appreciating good extraction and flavour
• Texture milk and start creating simple latte art designs
• Confidently build all the drinks on the barista's menu
• Clean and close down the coffee bar.
